Shipping, Privacy, and Return Policies
Shipping Policy
We do not ship to PO Boxes. When ordering online, please provide a street address. When possible, we ship by UPS or FedEx. Any damage sustained in shipping must be noted in writing on the delivery ticket, so the necessary claims can be filed for repair or replacement.
Freight Policy (signs shipped via common carrier)
When your sign arrives carton(s) must be opened and sign inspected before freight bill is signed.
If sign is damaged
- If damage is minor, and the damaged part is replaceable (i.e. a part attached with screws, not welded), we can often send the part for you to replace. An example would be the sign faces. Provided the frame is not bent, sign faces can be easily replaced on site much faster than returning the entire sign.
- Do not sign the freight bill to accept delivery until all damage is noted by you in writing.
- The Freight Bill is the ONLY thing we have to prove damage, once the sign is accepted.
It determines who pays for the damage!
If there is any doubt, refuse delivery.
Once a customer has accepted the order free from any damage from the Trucking Line, we/they can no longer be held responsible for any transit related damage. Any sign returned due to damage will be repaired or replaced as soon as possible, and not the time required for original manufacture. It's unusual, but sometimes mishaps occur and dealing with them properly at the time makes everything thereafter a whole lot easier. This has nothing to do with the warranty on the sign, but rather has only to do with shipping incidents.
Privacy Policy
I have read some privacy statements and after having read the entire lengthy text I'm not sure just how private my information was. In an effort to simplify legalese, we do not sell, rent, loan, give away, or in any way make available the information submitted to us whether by email, mail, phone, or fax... period.
Return Policy
- Returned merchandise, when accepted, is subject to a 15% restocking charge.
- Also, credit on returns will be minus the true shipping cost of getting that product to you. “Price Includes Shipping” only applies when the purchase is kept.
- If you are ordering replacement letters, measure your existing letters! Guessing at the size forfeits the right to return. The old carpenters axiom of “measure twice, cut once” also applies to ordering. - Custom orders, which include individual letter orders, are not returnable.
- Returns, when authorized, should be made in the original box in new, saleable condition, within 15 days from the time it is delivered, freight prepaid. Used, damaged or custom manufactured items cannot be returned under any condition.
- Contact us for a Return Authorization number. Items may not be returned without prior authorization.
